Fields & Co. CA is a leading accountancy practice in the southside of Glasgow offering. We are members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and regularly attend technical courses in order to provide up to date tax advice. We offer our services to private individuals, sole traders, partnerships and limited liability companies.

The early years
The principal partner gained his Honours degree in business and finance back in 1983 from Glasgow Caledonian University. Having then decided on accountancy he joined Coopers & Lybrand in 1984 to undertake his formal training.
Insolvency experience
At the time of qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1988, Derek was working in the insolvency department dealing with various types of businesses. These included retailers, hotels, restaurants and manufacturing companies and gave him a broad range of business skills and expertise.

The variety and excitement of businesses that Derek had been involved with was a key factor in his decision to start up his own accountancy practice and Fields & Co CA was born in 1992 and has gone from strength to strength.
